The concept of the product remains unchanged, but the previous version returns to the market with a nearly doubled arsenal of active ingredients. The new formula contains 13 new active ingredients in the form of plant extracts, vitamins, minerals and other active ingredients.
The product is composed of 29 active ingredients, grouped into 3 major categories.
1) Multi Metabol Complex1,7,8
A complex containing L-carnitine L-tartrate, acetyl L-carnitine, CLA, amino acids, plant extracts, minerals, among others.
Carnitine is synthesised mainly in the liver and kidney from the amino acids lysine and methionine. In cells, carnitine is required for the transport of fatty acids from the cytosol to the mitochondria.2 Revex HC contains L-carnitine in two forms, L-carnitine L-tartrate and acetyl L-carnitine.
CLA, or conjugated linoleic acid, is one of the polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acids found in the product. Its most common natural sources are ruminant meat and dairy products3 , but the active ingredient in this product is derived from safflower seed oil.
The amino acids in the product are L-phenylalanine and L-tyrosine. L-phenylalanine is an essential amino acid that cannot be produced by the body. It is a precursor of the amino acid L-tyrosine in the body. In some cases, L-tyrosine cannot be produced in sufficient quantities by the body, hence it becomes a conditionally essential amino acid.
Multi Metabol Complex also contains plant extracts and flavonoids. Flavonoids are a collective term for polyphenolic compounds found naturally in vegetables, fruits and products made from them.
This large group includes hundreds of compounds, which can be subdivided into several smaller subgroups such as flavanones, flavonols, flavan-3-ols, flavonones, isoflavonoids and anthocyanins.4
Flavonoids from dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) root extract have been included in the product, and quercetin, naringin and hesperidin have been added to colour the composition of the product. It is important to note that the product is not a substitute for fruit and vegetable consumption or a balanced and varied diet, but a complement to it.
The herbal ingredients of Revex HC also include Garcinia cambogia fruit extract, which provides the active ingredient HCA (hydroxycitric acid), bitter melon (Momordica charantia) fruit extract and its derivative charantin, cayenne pepper fruit extract and BioPerine® black pepper fruit extract.
In addition to the plant extracts, amino acids and carnitines, there is also chitosan, a polysaccharide component5 and inositol, the basis of many secondary messenger molecules in cells6. Zinc and chromium are included in the complex in organic form and are involved in the normal metabolism of macronutrients7. In addition, zinc is involved in the normal metabolism of fatty acids and chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood sugar levels8.
Choline plays an important role in the structural integrity of cell membranes as a precursor of phospholipids in the membrane and is involved in the transport and metabolism of lipids and cholesterol9, i.e. it is involved in normal fat metabolism1.
Energy-Yielding Matrix10,11
This matrix includes the vitamins found in the product.10Thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 are involved in normal energy-yielding metabolic processes. 11Riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 contribute to reducing fatigue and tiredness. The daily intake of this product contains 100% of the daily reference intake for adults of thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12.*
Multi Source Stim Blend
In addition to anhydrous caffeine, the total 200 mg of caffeine in this daily dose is derived from several plant sources, including coffee beans containing chlorogenic acid, green tea leaf extract containing polyphenolic compounds, guarana extract preparation and cola nut extract.
Revex HC is recommended:
- Women and men who would like to supplement their diet with a complex product with choline content involved in normal fat metabolism.1
- For those who wish to supplement their balanced and varied diet with vitamins, minerals, plant extracts and active ingredients
- For those who prefer easy-to-dose capsule products.
- Those seeking a product with more caffeine sources.
